ADJECTIVE IN COMPARISON

• Comparative Used for comparing 2 things. The ways creating comparative :
1. For the adjective or adverb that has 1 or 2 syllables Adjective/adverb + -er + than e.g. : - Your pen is longer than mine. - The shark is bigger than clown fish.
 2. For the adjective or adverb that has 3 syllables or more More + Adjective/adverb + than e.g. : - Harry is more handsome than Ron. - My watch is more expensive than yours. • Superlative Used for comparing
\3 things or more. he ways creating comparative : 3. For the adjective or adverb that has 1 or 2 syllables The + Adjective/adverb + -est e.g. : - Christopher is the tallest student in the class. - Borneo is the largest island in Indonesia. 4. For the adjective or adverb that has 3 syllables or more The + most + Adjective/adverb e.g. : - William is the most diligent boy in his organization. - My name is the most beautiful in my family. ( superlative = -est/Most - smartest - Most difficult ) (comparative = -er/ More - smarter - More difficult ) ( basic/simple adjective - smart - difficult ) • IRREGULAR ADJECTIVE (Good / Well - Better -Best ) (Bad / badly - Worse - Worst) (Much / many - More - Most) (Little - Less - Least) (Far - Further / farther - furthest)
